Scale Models

Time is ticking away and it's nearly time to start our sculpture construction!! As good as our straw model is, its not quite detailed enough for us to build from, so we have made 1:5 models of each of our 4 sculptures.

3mm steel rods were ideal for the job and now we're feeling more confident with our welding skills we were able to easily tack sections together to form our structures.

These models will be the perfect tool to aid us in the next step, which will be the full scale metal sculptures.
